All Saints' Anglican Church
The All Saints Anglican Church was established in 1910. The first Vicar (Rev. King) of the church, brought with him a stained glass window over 500 years old. It was removed from the Church of St. John the Baptist in England and buried to protect against Puritan vandalism. It was placed back in the church after the restoration, but then replaced to make way for another memorial window. The window was presented to Rev. King and transportation was paid to Watrous.
The window arrived in 2000 parts and was assembled into the fabric of the All Saints Church. The window is characteristically medieval in design and colour; the colours being those dark definite shades of blue, purple, red, green and yellow. The ancient art of making the special dyes for the glass has since been lost. Visitors are encouraged to stop by and take a look at this rare piece of history.
